Finishing a 100 miler is special. You will remember the moment for the rest of your life.
– Ulrich Kamm

The 2007 Snow and Ice 100

Animated gif of a walker Our goal was to walk 100 miles in 35 hours around Chatfield State Park southwest of Denver
Ulli and Traudl Kamm The amazing organizers of this event were Ulrich and Traudl Kamm

They scouted 200 miles of trails in the Chatfield area, plotted the course, arranged all necessary permits, and prepared food for aid stations

The course was divided into six big loops, each starting from a centrally located bridge in Chatfield State Park, allowing us to return to our vehicles between each loop

This was not a race, but a team walk, where the goal was to keep the team together

We started at 7:01 AM on Saturday, 2/24/07 - scroll down...
