Notes by Gerry Roach

  1. Our Utah county highpoint climbs
Gerry Roach’s totals: 32 ascents; 29/29 counties overall
Jennifer Roach’s totals: 32 ascents; 29/29 counties overall
Gerry and Jennifer’s combined total as of 10/6/17: 64 ascents

  2. There are 26 county highpoints on this list.

  3. Three of Utah’s 29 county highpoints are twofers, where one summit is the highpoint of two counties.
These three twofer peaks are Eccentric, Delano, and Thurston.
Thus, even though there are 29 counties, there are only 26 different Utah county highpoints.

  4. In this list, Rank by Elevation is in the first column, and Rank by Prominence is in the second column.

  5. All maps are USGS 7.5 minute quads unless otherwise indicated.
The map listed shows the highpoint, and its contour interval is 40 feet unless otherwise indicated.

  6. The datum for the Latitude and Longitude is WGS84.
