North Slopes
– 1.8 miles RT, 1,118 feet net and total, Class 2

This is the shortest route on Pulver Mountain, and one of the shortest hikes around.
Start at the Pulver Trailhead at 9,420 feet, march southwest into the forest and bushwhack south-southwest up the wooded slope to reach Pulver’s summit ridge at 10,400 feet. Hike 0.2 mile south along this ridge, enjoying the views enroute, to reach Pulver’s highest point, which is in a cluster of colorful rocks. From the highpoint, you will have an unobstructed view of Pikes Peak to the east, Stoll Mountain to the south, and the Sawatch Range to the west, which rises beyond the expanse of South Park.
