Supplemental oxygen is just another piece of equipment. When I get cold, I put on more clothes; when it gets bright, I wear dark glasses; when I get hungry, I eat; when it gets icy, I put on crampons; when it gets dangerous, I use ropes; when there isn’t enough air, I breathe supplemental oxygen.
It’s just another piece of equipment.
